In fact, people without relevant knowledge and experience can easily be tricked into buying inferior LED strips. However, experienced people still have a way to distinguish, the regular LED strip manufacturer and the copycat version of the LED strip are clear from the appearance. 1. The LED light strips produced by ordinary LED welding spot light strip manufacturers are produced by SMT patch process, solder paste soldering process and remelting soldering process. Therefore, the solder joints on the LED strip are relatively smooth, and the amount of solder is not large. The solder joints extend from the FPC pad to the LED electrode in an arc shape. However, the amount of solder of the fake LED strip is not uniform, most of which is a point wrapped on the solder foot, and there will be varying degrees of tin tip at the same time, which is a typical manual soldering phenomenon.
2. The quality of FPC is divided into copper and rolled copper. The copper foil of the copper sheet protrudes. If you look closely, you can see the connection between the solder joints and the FPC. The rolled copper is tightly connected with the flexible circuit board, which can be bent at will without tile drop. If the copper plate is bent too much, the gasket will fall off, and the high temperature during maintenance will also cause the gasket to fall off.
3. Check the cleanliness of the surface of the LED strip. The LED strips produced by SMT process have good surface cleanliness, free of impurities and stains. However, if the Shanzhai LED strip is manufactured by manual soldering process, no matter how it is cleaned, there will be stains and cleaning marks on the surface, and there will be flux and tin residue on the surface of the flexible circuit board.
4. The conventional LED light strips in the package will be packaged in anti-static rolls, usually 5 meters or 10 meters per roll, and then sealed with anti-static and moisture-proof packaging bags. The counterfeit version of the LED light strip will be used for cost savings, so there is no static and moisture-proof packaging bag. If you look closely at the reel board, you can see the marks and scratches left when the label is removed.
5. Look at the conventional label LED light packaging bags and coil discs will have printed labels instead of printed labels. The copy of the label is printed, and the specifications and parameters are not uniform.
6. See the ordinary LED light strips in the accessories will be attached to the box with instructions and light strip specifications, and also equipped with LED light strip connectors or card holders; and the cottage version of the LED light packaging box does not have these accessories.
