Although LED light strips are only auxiliary lighting in the home, they often have various problems. The most typical one is that the light strip does not light up. How to solve the problem of not light up the LED light strip?

1. High temperature damage

The high temperature resistance of LEDs is not good. Therefore, if the soldering temperature and soldering time of the LEDs are not well controlled during the production and maintenance process, the LED chips will be damaged due to ultra-high temperature or continuous high temperature, resulting in LEDs Feign death phenomenon of light strips.

Solution: Do a good job in the temperature control of reflow soldering and soldering iron, and implement special personnel responsible for special file management. The soldering iron uses a temperature-controlled soldering iron to effectively prevent the high-temperature soldering iron from burning the LED chip.

2. Static electricity burns out

Because LEDs are electrostatic sensitive components, if the electrostatic protection is not done well during the production process, the LED chips will be burned out due to static electricity, which will cause the false death of the LED strips.

Solution: Strengthen electrostatic protection. All employees who come into contact with LEDs must wear anti-static gloves and electrostatic rings in accordance with regulations. Tools and instruments must be grounded.

3. Moisture bursts under high temperature

If the LED package is exposed to the air for a long time, it will absorb moisture. If it is not dehumidified before use, it will be exposed to the moisture in the LED package due to the high temperature and long time period during reflow soldering. Thermal expansion causes the LED package to burst, which indirectly causes the LED chip to overheat and be damaged.

Solution: The storage environment of the LED should be constant temperature and humidity. The unused LED must be baked in an oven at about 80° for 6~8 hours for dehumidification before the next use, to ensure that the used LEDs are uniform. There will be no moisture absorption.
