Be careful to prevent myopia, all copper lamp lighting conditions should not be 'too good'

According to statistics, the myopia rate of children now reaches more than 30%, and it is increasing every year. At the same time, the proportion of middle school students in urban myopia is 4 ~ in rural areas ~ 5 times. Some data show that in addition to some bad habits of children leading to myopia, another killer of myopia is that the lighting conditions are too bright. Therefore, when we choose to install all-copper lamps, we should determine them according to different environments. The full copper lamp is dark and it is not easy to be myopic. When analyzing the low myopia of rural children, many people will attribute it to short study and reading time and low homework pressure. Of course, this is one reason. However, why did those children who had studied hard under the oil lamp for many years wear glasses when they improved their lighting conditions at night after going to college? A few years ago, I heard an old man from the countryside said that urban myopia was mostly because the lights were too bright. At that time, I only felt that this was reasonable, but I couldn't say it clearly. Once upon a time, we repeatedly stressed the need to protect children's eyesight. The main measure is to improve the lighting of classrooms and libraries. Parents will buy the best copper lamps for their children and improve their nutrition. But the result is more and more myopia. So why is it not easy for myopia to choose a dark copper lamp? First, let's see why we are myopic. When looking at the near object, if it is not adjusted, the object is imaged behind the retina, of course, it cannot be seen clearly. At this time, the curvature of the lens is generally increased by contracting the ciliary muscle, which can make the object image on the retina, that is, see clearly. However, when looking at the object for a long time, many signals formed by the contraction of ciliary muscle lead to the gradual lengthening effect of the anterior and posterior diameters of the eyeball. In this way, the contraction of ciliary muscle is not needed, and the object can be visualized on the retina, forming the adaptation of close-range vision. However, the eye axis is elongated. When looking at distant objects, the imaging is in front of the retina, but the eye muscles cannot be adjusted. The diopter of the eye can only be corrected by wearing glasses, so that distant objects can be imaged on the retina. Therefore, the essence of myopia is the adaptive response of the eye axis to long-term myopia. This elongation generally cannot be reversed, or there is no reversed condition, such as it is impossible not to engage in close study and work for a long time. Experiments have proved that keeping monkeys in dark rooms can lead to hyperopia. Therefore, when the light is relatively dark, the image of the object is biased forward when the light is dark and backward when the light is bright, compared with that under the bright desk lamp. In this way, when the light is bright, the elongation of the eye axis is naturally more responsive. When using all-copper lamps in families, the lighting should not be too bright. Comparing the differences in the imaging parts of objects in eyes caused by different eye diopters under different light, it is not difficult for us to understand why with the improvement of living conditions, the brightness of classroom and home lighting has increased, which has led to an increase in the proportion of myopia. In view of this, how strong the brightness of classrooms, libraries, etc. should be, and it is necessary to stand in a new perspective and re-evaluate objectively and scientifically.
