[Shanghai] has not received notice to turn off the landscape lights
'Administrative organs and public places at all levels should close unnecessary nighttime lighting, except for major celebrations, all of which will be closed.' This is the content of the top 10 energy-saving actions required by the General Office of the State Council on August 2nd. In this regard, the relevant person in charge of the Shanghai Municipal Appearance Bureau said that the current city appearance department has not received the relevant notice, and if it receives the government notice today, it will immediately execute and close the city landscape lighting.
In order to avoid the peak of summer electricity consumption and ease the power shortage, from July 24th, the city's landscape lighting was delayed for half an hour, from 19:30 to 19:30, and the closing time was still 22 o'clock.
In addition, the city's excluding beach areas are still illuminated every day. Other areas are based on the forecast of the Shanghai Central Meteorological Observatory at 11 noon that day. When the maximum temperature reaches or exceeds 35 °C, all landscape lights are stopped.
