China's lighting industry is expected to break $20 billion in 2008

 The reporter learned from the press conference of the 13th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition yesterday that China's lighting industry has entered a new round of golden age driven by the infrastructure construction of the Olympic Games, Shanghai World Expo and Guangzhou Asian Games, and is expected to exceed 20 billion US dollars.

According to reports, Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition will be held at the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from June 8th to 11th. This is the largest trade fair for lighting products and services in Asia. The 2007 exhibition attracted more than 1,200 people. Exhibitors and 45,000 buyers will participate. This year, there will be more than 1,500 exhibitors from 21 countries, and the booth will exceed 100,000 square meters.
